The Entertainment and Tourism Association (ETA) recently organised a day trip for JCUB students to the Sunshine Coast Strawberry Farm, Glass House Mountains and Noosa Heads Beach on Saturday June 07th 2014. Over 50 students attended and enjoyed the successful excursion on a glorious sunny day.
First stop was at the Strawberry Farm where the students were given the opportunity to pick their own sweet strawberries fresh from the fields and enjoy them with some of the strawberry based eatables like ice-cream, shakes and other delicacies. This was a first time experience for many of our students.
Next stop took in the scenic beauty and historical trees at Glass House Mountains where the students worked together in small teams to find their own way through the forest and experience the beauty of the Australian bush.
Along the Sunshine Coastline, Noosa Heads Beach lies between the two beautiful mountains, famous for the calm and still waters popular with surfers. Here our students relaxed for a while enjoying many exciting activities like swimming, sightseeing, photography, sand-art and many others.
This was one of the wonderful opportunities provided by the ETA for the students of James Cook University Brisbane campus to minimize their stress just before the busy exam schedule.
