ETA - North Stradbroke Island

On Saturday the 12th of August, a group of JCU Brisbane students headed to North Stradbroke Island for a day trip organised by the ETA club. Students were able to see dolphins, turtles, koalas and enjoy breathtaking coastal lookouts.  Students enjoyed a BBQ for lunch, which was followed by a game of soccer and cricket. To get involved in the next ETA day trip, keep a lookout for next trimester’s event details!

“It was just my third week at JCU Brisbane when I decided to go on the ETA trip to North Stradbroke Island. Settling in still, this was a great way for me to see what Australia was all about. I met so many friendly people in just one day and they walked me through their experiences at JCU Brisbane so far. I’m glad I chose to be a part of this family. At the end of the day, as I was looking at the sunset from the ferry, I was thinking to myself, man that was a good day.”
